Get Outside.
Stay Curious.

Exploring the outdoors, sharing environmental stories, and making space for more people to feel at home in nature.

A Little About the Journey

The outdoors is for more than one kind of person.

The Outdoorsy Latina is a personal space for adventure, environmental communication, storytelling, and discovering what it means to build a relationship with nature on your own terms.

About

Hi, I'm Alexa.

I'm Alexa, an Environmental Communication graduate, outdoor enthusiast, and the person behind The Outdoorsy Latina. After starting a new job in Yosemite National Park and spending more time exploring the outdoors, I wanted a place to bring together the things I'm most passionate about: nature, adventure, storytelling, photography, and environmental education. This site is part personal journal, part creative portfolio, and part space to keep learning.
